The additional automatic car is still in the process of being ready for lessons. The dual control pedal is in, so the car is now insured as a tuition. There is still some small jobs to do before we let this one out on the road.
Notably a full service and a bloody good clean.

The aim with this car is to be able to offer more automatic driving lessons between. We will always offer manual driving lessons.

Look out for the black Q3 soon.

Congratulations to Shruthi on passing her driving test. With both experience of driving manuals and automatics, manual was chosen to gain her full driving licence. A very good driver, who was told “just drive like you normally do”on her test, resulted in a full driving licence!
We wish you all the best for the future.

Congratulations to Melly on passing her driving test at her first attempt. Melly came to us with some manual driving experience and a test booked! Can we get to a safe standard in the time frame. We certainly was able to get Melly to the standard required, and with 4 driver faults, a driving licence was granted.

We have since heard that Melly, and mr B, will be travelling around in a black Audi Q3. Speaking of black Q3’s, we will come back to that shortly.

We wish you all the best for the future.

Another successful manual learner for us.

Congratulations to Laura on passing her driving test. Laura did have some previous experience of driving, however Lee was able to help and gain the confidence. The day after her test, Laura was leaving North Devon to start university and took her CBT while learning with us. . So much going on and we wish Laura all the best for the future.

The editing of the photo went slightly wrong, so I included the review Laura left.

Time to show case our 5 successful learners, who all passed their tests within the last few weeks. We are a bit behind with posting these. Sorry! However we have been busy.
With both main tuition cars needing a full service and front brakes on both, all done in house by Lee, we certainly have been busy. Add in tyres for both cars and the fact that a certain black Audi Q3 needed parts sourcing and building, it certainly has been busy before we went on holiday.

Regarding maintenance, most of it is done in house by Lee, with a regular health check done ( every 3/4 months depending on mileage etc) at our local garage. Oils and filters are done every 8/10k miles on both cars.

I have enclosed photos of a well used brake pad, against a new one. The old pad is just outside the limit of the brake pad indicator. On the Q3 it is a light on the dashboard, whir on the Juke it is a small metal piece that will contact the disc when low. Hence the loud noise you get on some cars when braking.
