A great weekend for TVR Vixen pilot Tom Owen at the HSCC Jim Russell Trophy meeting, Snetterton Circuit. Using his Peninsula Motorsport built car with SRD Ford Crossflow power, Tom powered to class wins in both of his races.

Circuit of Ireland. First Es**rt Home !!

Congratulations to Darrel Quinn and the team on their extraordinary achievement on this year’s Rally Circuit of Ireland. Using the SRD Pinto powered MK2 Es**rt they finished second 2wd ( 14th overall) behind the Darian T90 GTR ! Credit must go to the whole crew for this amazing result 🏁🏁🚀🏆

Not bad for a 50yr old car powered by a Transit engine 😉

Congratulations to Casey , Declan Casey and the team….

We did.
What a weekend at the West Cork Rally. Thrilled to take 2nd in class with Declan Casey in the hot seat. Pace was manic all weekend and those stages are just epic.
Massive battle today to hold our overnight 2nd place and it didn't look good after we got caught out with our tyre choice in the wet on 1st run over Ardfield. It was a hair raising ride.
But once we made some adjustments in the last service it was business as usual again and we put the pony into attack mode to hold on.
I have to say a few special thank yous
To Declan for an awsome job on the notes and keeping me focused which is not an easy job
To Paul Fitzgerald who saved our bacon when our manifold broke on Clogagh. He put it back together with his bare hands and fence wire and got us to the end of the stage.
Jason O' Mahony and Wille Buchanan for welding the manifold last night
To Donal Healy and all the Healy Motorsport crew for keeping the pony singing all weekend.
Dave Moynihan for top class tyre advice (rain on Ardfield wasn't your fault 😜)
To Steve Davis and all the CMC crew for another hard core event.
Delcan Campbell the nutter for winning the class... I'll post you up the pints lad.. 😆
And finally my two girls Joanne Casey and Faye for helping this old man to pretend to be a young fella for as long as I can....
Right. Time for pints.... and hay for the pony... giddyup

2.2 litre Pinto crank.

We are now able to off-set grind standard pinto cranks to increase their stroke. We have a couple ground to the standard Ford Crossflow big end dimension so that a set of re-worked Crossflow rods can be used along with small pin pistons @ 94mm to achieve 2.2L. Alternatively, with a re grind they can be used with the Ford 1600 diesel rods, which will accept a 24mm small end pin. With a 94mm bore, the 79.40 stroke will achieve. 2’204cc. Congratulations to Irishman Peter Drennan on winning the 2025 Dutch Historic Monoposto Championship. Driving the ABR supported Royale, Peter dominated this year’s championship using the SRD developed FF2000 power unit 🏁🏁🏆
