The business has recently been redeveloped into a new state-of-the-art workshop including a designated MOT test bay and tyre fitting bays. The new development also includes a brand new reception area and car parking facilities.

Have you ever wondered why a garage might tell you a tyre puncture can’t be repaired? 🤔

A customer brought this Toyota in to us hoping for a quick fix. But because the screw was right on the shoulder of the tyre, a patch simply isn't safe. This area flexes constantly while you drive, meaning a patch would eventually fail and risk a dangerous blowout.

Are you driving around with a hidden MOT fail? 🚘❌

If your car has a manual handbrake, it relies on a hidden set of brake shoes tucked away inside your rear discs. Over time, these rot, rust, and seize up completely.

Some garages will skip stripping these down during a service to save a bit of time. We don't do that here. At West Street Garage, we strip, clean, and replace these hidden parts (if needed) so you can actually trust your handbrake on a hill.
