Life goes on, even when your world has changed forever.

Just two days after laying my dad to rest, I found myself in Paris for Fashion Week, visiting the showroom where we were showcasing our latest collection and squeezing in a photoshoot along the way.

It felt strange to be back at work so soon, trying to find a sense of normality when life felt anything but normal. But sometimes, keeping moving is what gets you through.

I took Zack with me because, more than anything, I wanted us to be together at such a difficult time. With Mudraa from my team alongside us, we somehow managed to fit an incredible amount into two rather chaotic days.

From Sacré-Cœur & Azzedine Alaïa Fondation to the Eiffel Tower, a little shopping, a lovely Parisian bistro and plenty of laughter in between the madness.

It was hectic, exhausting, beautiful and, unexpectedly, just what we needed.

Grief doesn’t mean life stops. You can carry sadness in your heart and still find moments of happiness. You can miss someone terribly and still laugh, work, explore and make memories.

And perhaps that is something my dad taught me more than anything. To be resilient, to keep going and to make the most of the life in front of you.

Paris was more than a work trip this time. It was two days of togetherness, a little breathing space and a reminder that even in the midst of loss, life still has beautiful moments to offer. ❤️
