This weekend saw an unforgettable celebration of 75 years of Porsche in the UK at the iconic Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone. Customers were welcomed to our Centre early in the day on Saturday in order to enjoy a relaxed buildup to the event, complete with coffee and artisan pastries from Noon Coffeehouse, before making their way to Silverstone at their leisure.
Sunstede: Silverstone Edition saw Porsche enthusiasts and customers from across the country come together for a vibrant event which delivered something truly exceptional. Taking centre stage were two standout debuts: the new 911 GT3 S/C and the 911 GT3 Earls Court ’51 Edition, a beautifully crafted tribute to Porsche’s first appearance at the 1951 Earls Court Motor Show. Alongside them, an extraordinary display from Sonderwunsch highlighted the artistry of Porsche personalisation, an iconic ‘Pink Pig’ Pen, and Porsche cars from across the decades that captured the imagination of every enthusiast.
Adding to the excitement, the Cayenne Electric took to the track to demonstrate its impressive capability. Watching the latest fully electric Porsche carve through the Silverstone corners with such confidence and composure was a powerful reminder of how the brand continues to evolve while staying true to its performance roots.
From the pioneering 356 to today’s most advanced sports cars, every corner of Sunstede celebrated a different chapter of Porsche history past, present and future. It was a privilege to support and attend such a landmark event, surrounded by incredible cars, passionate people and the unmistakable spirit of the Porsche community.
