Lace up those walking boots and make your way along the coast to Dunstanburgh castle.

This amazing landmark is yet another reason to visit Northumberland and what it has to offer.

Park in craster and then it’s a short/flat 1.5 mile walk (sadly you can’t drive to the castle) along the stunning Northumberian coast.

It is an English heritage site but it’s also free entry for national trust members ( with membership card).

Best known for its well preserved medieval castle nestled in a loop of the river coquet.
This place is perfect for a stroll along the river and village. We would recommend a stop at Bertram’s for coffee and a bite to eat afterwards!

One of the many incredible places to visit in Northumberland.

We are only 20 minutes away from what was William Armstrong home and the first house in the world to be lit using hydroelectric power.

Look closely at the bottom left of the photo. Our resident swans are currently sitting on the nest 🪺 we will hopefully be welcoming their brood soon!
This will be the third year the swans have hatched their cygnets 🦢
