Firouz and Mollie both Northstowe residents are the creators of Northstowe Foodies. We were interested in helping bring together local Cambridgeshire small businesses in this case independent food trucks and pop ups to not only support their business but provide an alternative food provision for our local area which was lacking in amenities. The added benefit of this is that 30-50% of the pitch fe

es go back into the community and we have funded towards social events with free food, the raised beds in the allotment community area, Free School Meals campaign and bought a laptop for a nearby school to hire to pupils during lockdown. Five of the Food trucks were awarded Surfers Against Sewage Plastic Free Business Champion status in Dec 2020. We also publish mini-blogs on local gems in the area mostly independent businesses.

🚐 Could the owner of the white Ford Transit Connect van currently parked on Northstowe Green please move it as soon as possible?

Our volunteers are setting up for today’s festival, and we need the Green to be clear for the event.
