This bumper came in with heavy surface rust and flaking scale along the bottom and ends. Plenty of folk would bin it, but there's good steel under there.

We've stripped it back to bare metal so we can see exactly what we're working with. No hiding rot under paint. Next it gets properly protected and refitted, ready for years more abuse. 💪

Roads in winter are brutal on a Land Rover. Salt, grit and constant wet get up under the arches and sit there, and before long you're looking at the first picture… 😬

🔧 In the workshop this week 🔧

We've got this Land Rover Defender 110 Puma in for a quick refurb and touch-up. Door panels are masked up and we're working through colour correction across the bodywork, plus SMART repairs where needed to sort out the marks and scuffs.

It's all about bringing the depth and shine back to the paint without a full respray. Watch this space for the finished result! ✨

TD5 struggling with loss of power, quick check of the diag software showed a fault with the MAF, new MAF ordered and fitted, power restored.

Oil Sump Gasket replacement 300tdi.
This sump showed signs of a major leak, we took the sump, cleaned out the old gasket and applied the landrover recommended sealant before installing the sump. Leak gone.
