Things that go bump in the night don't scare us... but being stranded at the roadside can be frightening enough! 🎃
If the unexpected happens this Halloween, Gatward Recovery is just a call away. 🚚✨

Storm Boelo tried its best yesterday. One ambulance stuck in the mud, John wading in to help, and the realisation that his “waterproofs” are now just “slightly damp‑proof”.
Fresh kit is on the way — and the ambulance was back on the road in minutes.

Gatward Recovery: rain or shine, we get you moving.

A big thank you to John Gatward and Wendy Gatward for representing Gatward Recovery at the village litter pick this morning.

Small actions add up, and we’re proud to support our community as part of our social value commitment.

Cleaner village, stronger community.

At Gatward Recovery, we treat every vehicle like our own. That’s why we use Clean Set kits from ProLux Abschlepptechnik, supplied in the UK by Tow Truck Trader, to keep interiors protected and free from greasy marks. Respect for your vehicle comes first, every time.

Throwback Thursday — back to the 1960s, when car crumple zones were… well, barely a thing.
Amazing how far vehicle safety has come — and how long Gatward Recovery has been there when things go wrong.

A classic never goes out of style - even when it needs a helping hand!

John recovered a stunning Ferrari 308 GTS that had suffered a coolant hose failure.

Thanks to our Roger Dyson-Ltd Super Low Approach slidebed, we were able to load it with total care and precision.

Proud to be trusted with vehicles of every kind, from everyday cars to iconic classics.
