we are a family run sailmakers based in Heybridge. We make, repair and alter sails, covers and upholstery and supply marine services.

we make sails, covers and upholstery for all type of marine craft. Everything is bespoke and made to measure in a vast choice off materials and fittings.

A new stac pac cover, mainsail and genoa for a hunter horizon 26. The cover is made in grey acrylic supplied from Kayospruce Ltd wirh full length zipper top and reef point line feeds. The sails are made from Contender Sailcloth fibercon not just supplying the cloth but also fittings with full radial corner strength, rutcherson stainless eyes fully battened ready to use.

A great result for the Hanse Yachts UK 445 celebration finishing 88th across the line and 4th in class at this year's round the isle Wight race 2026. I made last year a new main, jib and all the covers and after a seasons cruising with them its powered round the island.

New console, seat and aft canopy for this sealine F33 powerboat. Made in navy blue acrylic with renolit windows both materials supplied by Kayospruce Ltd this has also been redesigned to include an extra zipped door for entrance that was not on the previous cover. With more contemporary looking hold up buckles with velcro storage so the aft locker still works with ease, its looking great. 👌

Having made a new mainsail, genoa and racing laminte genoa it was time for a new sprayhood and wheel/binnacle cover for this Beneteau first 40. Made in dark blue acrylic suppled by Kayospruce Ltd this looks great, alterations to the non supplied stac pac with now a front boot cover this is all set to go on its travels.

Its not all been new sails and covers. Alot of repair and service work has still been going on.
Jobs including, windsurf sail repairs and new mono film panels, u.v strips, zipped luffs in byte sails, window replacements......its all great work and mixing things up keeps the skill set tip top 🤓 materials from Kayospruce Ltd

With a visit to London a couple of weeks ago it was great to see the tramps made for the uber Thames taxis are still going strong 💪
These took me 4 hours to fit working 40ft up and in 30 degree heat inside a metal workshop !

A new stac pac and sprayhood for this gibsea 28. Made in Kayospruce Ltd supplied acrylic canvass in navy blue, this looks great and after fitting new track to the front deck section fits beautifully.

I see alot of brands that love a vertical batten. Im not a fan for various reasons, safety in having to remove them in a hurry for 1, are they needed for performance, shape, longevity....no

Just wanted to say we are really pleased with the new sails you made for Jemma. I’ve still got to do some tweaking with car positioning and halyard tension, but already I am getting at least half a knot more speed than the old ones. The main furls and unfurls really easily so we are super happy. Off to the Baltic next week so that we be the real test!

Attached are a couple of photos as promised they are not great as I can’t get far enough away!

Another project completed. Mainsail, genoa, stac pac and sprayhood for a hunter channel 323. The sails made in Contender Sailcloth and covers in acrylic canvass supplied by Kayospruce Ltd this is kitted out ready for the 2026 season.

Having made the new sprayhood and bimini last year I was asked to make new sails and a wheel cover for this season for 'Jemma ' a moody 38 . The sails were completed over the winter (see earlier post) and Having great customers produces great products as there was no pressure to rush anything. The wheel cover was made at the start of the spring all completed ready for the launch early May. Looking amazing with its acrylic covers and u.v protection from Kayospruce Ltd and the sail cloth supplied by Contender Sailcloth .
