🚨 ONE LUCKY ESCAPE! 🚨

This customer was brought to us by a recovery company after their vehicle suffered an overheating issue.

🔍 WHAT WE FOUND

Our checks revealed the cause:

A seized water pump & a Timing belt starting to wear out due to the water pump.

Thankfully, the customer got away relatively lightly. A seized water pump can quickly cause:

• Loss of coolant circulation
• Severe overheating
• Head gasket failure
• Major engine damage
• Potentially, a complete engine rebuild

On vehicles fitted with a timing belt-driven water pump, we strongly recommend replacing both components together when they are due even if the manufacturer doesn’t recommend this, It is always best practice.

A timing belt may look perfectly fine from the outside, but age, mileage and component wear can all contribute to failure.

⚠️ DON’T WAIT FOR A WARNING SIGN

Preventative maintenance is always cheaper than major repairs.
