Can any of our Binbrook Collection Followers help us with the lettering on this donation?

Today, one of our regular coffee morning friends, Peter, donated us a Brodie helmet, along with a shell case and a 1940's newspaper.

The Brodie has lettering on it. Pete does not know what the lettering means, and we wondered if any of our Fabulous Binbrook Collection followers may know!

Thank you everyone that came to today's coffee morning! Our tearoom filled up with chatter, and people were still talking as they were leaving!

This morning we received some special donations to the Binbrook Collection Museum:-

A longterm friend of the Binbrook Collection donated a limited print picture of Guy Gibson's Mosquito (that crashed in 1944).

Also our regular coffee morning friend Peter passed on a Brodie helmet, a shellcase, and a 1940's newspaper.

Thank you everyone for visiting and being part of the Binbrook Brew, it was alike a family of friends this morning!

Today we also had pop in on a 'memory lane trip' Phil Eyles and his daughter Samantha, and son-in-law.

Phil served here at RAF Binbrook 1981-1988, and Samantha was born an 'RAF Binbrook Baby' whilst they were!

A pleasure to share the new life of RAF Binbrook, and we look forward to seeing you all again for a coffee morning, and show you around the museum!

Bethany Jayne Scott is the winner! Of our Fabulous Five hundred followers competition.

This morning Bethany and her happy son visited the guardroom to collect her competition prizes. We also had the pleasure of giving her a little look around our guardroom museum.

Bethany, thank you for following the Binbrook Collection page, and we look forward to seeing you again on a Wednesday coffee morning.

Thank you everyone that came to coffee morning today at the Binbrook Brew. It was a joy to have at the Guardroom.

In true RAF style, a couple of 'late arrivals' at 11:50, still enjoyed a cuppa and cake.
