Looks like it’s going to be a windy weekend!!

Can you please make sure you have everything brought in from outside! Tables, chairs and anything else outside. Please make sure all awnings are down.

Hopefully there won’t be much damage! 🫣💨

LATEST MET OFFICE OUTPUT.

The met office are usually quite conservative in their forecast data but if this verifies AYRSHIRE is in for a pummeling this weekend and it's going to be a very noisy night for sleeping Saturday night.

Note 102mph just south of Arran.

Again this is just one model's output(subject to change),, other models are showing slightly less wind gusts speeds.

⚠️If you have travel plans this weekend I would reconsider and keep an eye on the latest forecast.⚠️

I'm holding off issuing a storm warning for Ayrshire until tomorrow (Friday) when the intensity, timing etc will be more accurate and up to date.

Graphic shows forecast wind gusts at 0300hrs Sunday.
