Established in 1993 by David Bell, Autolink Garage in Sandyford has gone from strength to strength. Although his technical training was carried out at Honda and Mitsubishi David’s love for cars started long before then and he has been been self taught since the age of 11. His experience along with his keen analytical mind has made him an exceptional mechanic with expertise in Auto electrics, re-mapping and diagnostic approaches. Whilst work dominates his life, everyone needs a hobby. For Dave - it’s cars. In his spare time he takes on projects along the lines of modifying rally cars, rebuilding classics and looking after performance cars such as the Ferrari 355 on their race days. Keeping everyone together in true ‘shipshape and Bristol fashion’ (she’s from Somerset – hence the pun), the assistant manager is Robynne. When she’s not ordering parts, maintaining supplies, making tea (the life force of the business!), looking after customers or invoicing, there’s nothing she enjoys more than getting stuck in working on the cars as a technician. The latest development for us is the addition of our apprentice - Ryan. He is working here while he undergoes his training at Gateshead College and if he plays his cards right, we'll hope he stays here for a long time after - what with him being the son of the Boss and all...

Unbelievably it was caused by a snapped wire in the drivers door to the ambient air temperature sensor ….
