We have seen some high temperatures over the last few days , here’s some top tips to help you whilst out on the road driving in hot weather

Check Tyre Pressures: Heat increases air pressure. Ensure they are set correctly to avoid blowouts.

Manage Your Cabin Temperature: Park in the shade or use a sunshade. When you return, drive for a short distance with the windows open to let trapped hot air escape before turning on the air conditioning.

Never Leave Kids or Pets: Interior temperatures can skyrocket to dangerous levels in just a few minutes, even with the windows slightly cracked.

Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water before and during your journey to avoid driver fatigue and heat stress.

Watch Engine Temperature: Monitor your dashboard for signs of overheating, and safely pull over if the temperature gauge creeps too high.

Protect Against Sun Glare: Keep a pair of sunglasses in the car and use your sun visors to maintain clear visibility.

Finally, enjoy the sun whilst it lasts!
