Meet Chris & Julie.

These guys were the first people to drive an EV, or any car for that matter, from magnetic North Pole to the South Pole!

In the polar regions they used a solar trailer to charge this Nissan Aryia and the huge tyres were crucial for crossing all the varying terrains during the expedition. They also ran them as low as 8psi tyre pressure in the Arctic & Antarctica.

They also collaborated with Matchbox to produce a 1:64 die cast replica of the car and you can see the full-sized version for yourself on Saturday 6th June at the Nottingham MotorShowNottingham MotorShow New Car Preview Day, featuring 's in the Park.

We're delighted to announce that the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight aircraft performing a flypast at the Nottingham MotorShow in just over a weeks' time will be the Douglas C47 Dakota!

One of the most successful military transport aircraft designs in history, and widely used by the Allies during World War Two,
the Flight’s Dakota ZA947, named ‘Kwicherbichen’ by her crews, conducted paradropping operations on the eve of D-Day, plus missions to evacuate casualties and re-supply forces.

Join us on Sunday 7th June to witness this historic aircraft fly over Wollaton Hall and Deer Park at an altitude of just 1000ft!!
