We use PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) methods, including controlled glue pulling and using specialised tools to access the rear of the dent, to effectively massage the metal back into its original form - without the need for repainting.

Can this be repaired/improved?

This customer isn't looking for perfection - the age of car, high mileage & paint damage don't really make a full repair financially viable... but it would still be nice to not drive around with a significantly damaged door!

I said I'd see if I can get it to 90%.

That last 10% would probably take as long as the first 90%!

Can this gnarly dent on a lovely pearlescent finish be removed, saving the car from the bodyshop?

Bodyshops can do a great job when necessary, but if the paint is still intact, we can often save you time, money and your valuable original paintwork!

I wasn't absolutely certain I could help out in this specific scenario as access wasn't great and there was a LOT of built up 'gnarly' tension (but assured the customer if it failed, there wouldn't be a charge) but managed to get it to a pretty high standard & the customer was delighted!

This (plastic) is NOT really something we normally offer - but just wanted to show off the results 😁

A customer arrived having significantly damaged their bumper only minutes before.

The bumper really needs replaced in the long term as the plastic is cut through and the paint is cracked under strain of the bend... however...

In around an hour using a few transferable skills, tools and a dangerous amount of 'picked up' know-how, I was able to restore it enough to give the customer a little breathing space, removing the need for a more immediate replacement.

Pretty pleased with that 👌🏻

'Can you fix a dent if the paint is damaged?'

Probably - it depends on a few factors, but if the paint is planned to go for a touch-up or the damage is so slight that you don't require a touch-up, then yes.

And it can sometimes be worth speaking to me first, prior to a car going in for a respray, as it is often better to have dents removed rather than filled 👍🏻
