Never thought I'd have a sticker, let alone a sticker anyone would want to buy. And NEVER would I expect to see that sticker next to the iconic Chopped Fingers. Not to gush but Marty and Moog are genuine heroes of mine and what I do on my tiny little channel pales in comparison to their endlessly superb and trailblazing work. On the day that things are finally going well enough for me to have to close my bookings for a little while, being sent this by a friend of the channel hit me in a way I wasn't expecting. Life is weird, and so very, very cool sometimes. I'm thankful. This time 2 years ago I was doing a s**t job I hated and struggling to pay my bills, 2 years on I love every minute of my stressful, hectic job and make s**tty little videos for an amazing little audience and I can't get enough of it. I know this seems like a silly, self indulgent post, but this is a sign that taking that terrifying leap was the right decision, and I'm thankful to every person who has brought their car to me, watched a video, or bought a sticker.
I'd be remiss if I didn't also thank and for being instrumental in changing automotive YouTube and then managing to stay grounded, relatable, and real while continuing to put out some of the very best work on the platform. My tiny channel will always pale in comparison to their work but they've been a continuous inspiration not only on how to make great videos, but how to be a classic act the whole time.
I'll shut up now, and this isn't a big deal to anyone but me, but it's a very nice feeling all the same 🥳
