The B48 engine is used across a number of BMW models, with many sharing very similar hardware. One of the biggest differences between them is the factory ECU calibration.

A professionally developed Stage 1 ECU Remap safely optimises the software to unlock more of the engine's potential, resulting in sharper throttle response, stronger mid-range performance and a completely different driving experience.

It's one of those cars where you don't need a stopwatch to notice the difference. Pull away from a junction, join a motorway or overtake on a country road and you'll feel it immediately.

This Golf R came in for a back box delete, finished off with a set of black chrome exhaust tips, and the transformation is exactly what you'd expect. Less muted hatchback. More "I mean business."

This 5.0-litre Ford Mustang rolled into Dragon Performance for a new exhaust, and before we'd even got it on the ramp, it had already become the star attraction outside our new workshop. People slowing down. Double takes. Phones coming out. You know the drill.

It's bright yellow, has a V8 the size of a small village, and possesses all the subtlety of a sledgehammer.
