Jude left school and went straight to college, but something didn't click, so he flipped the script and took on a Level 2 Customer Service apprenticeship with Mayflower Auto Services MOT & Repairs

It was a massive step walking into a busy workshop at such a young age, but Jude threw himself into it and flew through his modules with 1-on-1 support from our expert tutors. Now he’s got a rock-solid foundation, zero student debt, and has just stepped up into Level 3 Business Admin apprenticeship with his brilliantly supportive employer.

All at Mayflower Auto Services wish our general maintenance man, Tom, a very happy 70th birthday.

Tom has been with us for 17 years and whilst many will not have seen much of Tom as he likes to stay quietly behind the scenes ! Tom is an extremely important cog in the Mayflower wheel and keeps all our buildings safe and running smoothly.

Happy 70th Tom. Thank you for all you do for us.

With there being a recruitment shortage of vehicle technicians in the motor industry, we’ve decided to start them young.

The owners of Mayflower, great-nephew Max, is 4 today, he loves fixing his toy cars and when he does, he says he’s like his Uncle Mick.

So we started him on his pre-apprenticeship today and Max now has his Mayflower Auto Services uniform and a car he needed to put together.

Great job Max, you’ve passed your first assignment - Happy Birthday !

Big congratulations to our Apprentice Service Advisor - Jude, for passing his “Customer Service Practitioner” level 2 qualification and doing so with a distinction in all areas.

It is a pleasure to have Jude at our business, he is polite, knowledgeable, intelligent and mature beyond his years. A great asset to support in the running of our front of house.

Good luck Jude with the next stage of your apprenticeship with us, we know you’ll smash that too. We are very proud to have you as a member of the Mayflower team.

TRAINEE VEHICLE TECHNICIAN VACANCY

This role is ideal for someone who has completed, or is close to completing, their Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and is looking to develop their skills in a professional workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles
* Performing repairs including brakes, clutches, and basic mechanical work
* Assisting senior technicians with more complex repairs such as cambelts and timing chains, being trained as you go.

About You:
* Completed or nearing completion of Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Confident in servicing, brakes, and clutch work
* Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
* Willing to learn and develop skills in more advanced mechanical repairs
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
