Not every memorable stop comes with electric hook-up, perfectly mown pitches or facilities that you’d be pleased with at home.
Our first stay in Norfolk was quite the opposite…. A welcoming farmer we got chatting to who says “You’re welcome to stay here for a couple of nights”
With his tractor he mowed a patch of grass in a wild meadow and for two nights we had something money can’t buy… space, silence and complete freedom.
Just a short stroll away, we were in a beautiful village; the kind of place that forces you to slow down. A fabulous pub, a well stocked community shop with café and empty footpaths leading in every direction through rolling farmland and ancient woodland.
Our seven-mile circular walk passed without seeing another soul, just the sounds of the countryside and glimpses of partridges, deer disappearing into the trees and hares racing across open land.
As motorhome dealers and campers too, people often ask us where the best campsites are. But the truth is, motorhome life isn’t always about finding the perfect campsite and what’s perfect for one, isn’t perfect for another….It’s about finding moments like this.
The freedom to choose what’s right for you, the flexibility to stay as long as you like, finding that perfect spot and the joy of discovering new places. For us it’s the luxury of waking up surrounded by nature with no where else we need to be.
This is why people fall in love with motorhoming.
Not because of where you park… but because of the life it allows you to live.
Happy adventures ❤️🚐🌿
