It’s been another busy week in the workshop!

✅ Vauxhall Vivaro
• EGR cooler replacement
• Turbo replacement

✅ Ford Transit Connect
• DPF clean
• Turbo replacement
• Cylinder head removed to clean the inlet manifold

✅ Volvo V90
• Full service
• Rear brake discs and pads
• Two new tyres

Alongside these larger jobs, we’ve also had plenty of MOTs, servicing, diagnostics, repairs and general maintenance work keeping the team busy throughout the week.

☀️ Dapstar Weekly Round-Up ☀️

Another busy week in the workshop at Dapstar 👨‍🔧🔧

This week we’ve been working on:

🚗 Toyota Auris – Water pump & auxiliary belt replacement
🚗 Honda Civic – MOT plus 3 tyre changes
🚗 Jaguar F-Pace – Full service, glow plugs, EGR cooler & track rod end

Plenty of graft getting these vehicles back on the road and running spot on 💪

And of course… Lee taking full advantage of the sunshine on his lunch break 🌞🍔😎

VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT WITH SPINNING GLOW PLUG,

The owner was kindly recommended to us by another local garage.

Customer called asking if a spinning glow plug is something we’d take on.

Of course it is, On inspection we found 3 had already been replaced but cylinder 3 was spinning,

We removed the inlet manifold to gain access & covered all ports to save any potential of alien objects entering the engine. Then grabbed the Pichler removal kit, (honestly you won’t convince me this isn’t the best tool on the market.)

Anyway a bit of twisting, drilling & pulling the old glow plug was out & the new one installed & everything back together,

Basically it was seized & the top had been snapped off.

No dramas with correct kit.

🔧 WEEKLY RUNDOWN AT DAPSTAR 🔧

Another busy week in the workshop with plenty getting sorted 👨‍🔧

✅ Renault Master – wheel bearing & tyre replacement
✅ Ford Transit Connect – turbo replacement
✅ Range Rover Sport – full service, front and rear pads and discs, plus rear link rods replaced

And that’s only a few of the jobs through the doors this week — we’ve had loads of other repairs, servicing, diagnostics and maintenance work keeping us busy too 🙌
