Peugeot 3008 1.5D Adblue Solution

Another one with the dreaded countdown.

This one just came back from the recall, dealers are doing for the timing chain and a Software update.

This has previously had and Adblue Delete as the tank was disconnected. We have ReConnected the tank so from outside appearances everything is as it should be and removed the Fuse for the SCR system.

**2021 Citroen Dispatch 2.0D Stage 1 – Take Two!**

A customer came to us a few weeks ago looking for a Stage 1 remap and to have the 70mph speed limiter removed.

We tried various methods to remove the limiter, both in the body control module and the engine ECU, but nothing would get rid of it. After doing some research, it turns out that if these vans were originally supplied by the dealer with a restricted speed limit, it's almost impossible to remove without dealer-level equipment.

So... after a trip to the main dealer and a software update later, the customer popped back in to have the Stage 1 tune installed again.

Thankfully, the updated software version wasn't drastically different from the original. This meant I could transfer most of the calibration data from the previous tune that he was already happy with, saving a lot of time in the retuning process.

And before anyone asks – we didn't charge for doing it again. I was confident I could remove the limiter the first time around, but I was mistaken.

Lesson learned! Even after years in the trade, every now and then a vehicle teaches you something new. 👍

🚗 **Ford C-Max – Persistent DPF Issues Resolved**

This Ford C-Max came to us with ongoing DPF problems that had become a real frustration for the owner.

Despite multiple forced regenerations and various DPF cleaning treatments, the filter was still becoming blocked again within a matter of weeks. To make matters worse, the vehicle is already on its second DPF.

The vehicle is an automatic and is mainly used for short local journeys and trips to the shops, which unfortunately are far from ideal conditions for a DPF-equipped diesel engine.

After carrying out a full assessment and discussing all available options, along with the potential long-term issues, the customer decided they no longer wanted to deal with recurring DPF problems.

Another vehicle back on the road and a relieved customer who can now drive without worrying about warning lights, regenerations, or costly DPF-related repairs. 👍

🚐 **2024 Nissan NV300 – MD1CS016 AT ECU Unlock & AdBlue Solution**

Another Nissan NV300 in with the common AdBlue system issues that affect many of the 1.6 and 2.0 diesel models.

Being a newer vehicle, this one was fitted with a locked MD1CS016 AT ECU, which required unlocking via AutoTuner's European service before any work could be carried out.

The ECU was sent out on Tuesday and returned today – an incredibly fast turnaround! 👌

Everything is now completed, tested, and running exactly as it should. The vehicle is ready for the customer to collect.

Vauxhall Grandland 1.5D recovered in No Crank No Start

Diagnostics out, 27 Faults in engine ECU all basically saying every sensor on the engine was either missing or shorted to ground

Physically checked all the grounds to the ECU back probing while the Ignition was on, everything checked out fine .

Did the basics check all Fuses and relays etc. All good 🤷🏼‍♂️

Only really one thing left, ECU itself has internally lost a ground on the PCB

We sourced a second hand ECU took a full read off the Original ECU and transferred the data to the Donor ECU

I plugged the in just ECU in to check all the faults were gone, and then proceeded to do an immobilizer delete on the Donor ECU.

The MD1CS003 can't be cloned at this time as the ECU has OTP (One Time Programmable) areas in the memory chip for protection

All sorted and back to the customer

A file that came across our file service this morning, to be checked and adjusted as the car isn't making any more power with a stage 1 file (Not by Us)

Looking at the tuning and the method used to increase the power from this 2.0Tdi it's quite a simple tune nothing special or nothing bad just a standard stage tune......

But.... Why wasn't it making any more power with what looks to be a half decent tune 🤔

Further investigation and a datalog later you can see in the CSV datalog the engine torque is still being limited to stock power 320nm...

Just goes to show what a single value torque limiter can do!

I literally only had to adjust this one map and now the car is pulling as expected!

Audi S7 Light Stage 1 Tune

The customer bought this vehicle tuned already but wasn't very happy with it and wanted to calm things down a little..

Especially after having new high pressure fuel pumps fitted at Audi...

Upped the boost to from 0.7 to 1.1 bar Would normally be 1.4/1.5

Added a few degrees of timing and it's made it feel alive without feeling like it's going to break as the customer described it

It's pulling a few degrees of timing here and there but knock protection is untouched so it's not going to do any damage. Have recommended some good injector cleaner and 99 V-Power Only
