2 hours from the port and the excitement begins.
Check lists are going through my head, everyone is WhatsApping. What channel for the CB’s and so on.
Iceland is a bit different for me having been here 3 years ago and I found it very strange and I was out of my comfort zone. Hopefully I will have cured my nerves.
Having Tracy along is also a first for me, and it’s a pleasure having some company and help.
There are 800 vehicles on this ferry and a very large percentage are 4x4’s and some fabulous builds. Every make and model going !

It’s a bigger Island than you think 400 miles from port of entry to the capital city!

The first stop and everyone will be there is the supermarket about 30 miles from the port where we will do a little shop and pick up one half of the famous M & M’s Mark Vivian who has flown in to join Tim.

Let the Ardventure begin !
