🚗 Should fixing your car really cost thousands?

The Government is looking at introducing tougher rules around vehicle emissions systems and cracking down on illegal modifications like DPF and AdBlue deletes.

We completely understand why these systems are important. Cleaner air benefits everyone.

But here's our take...

The best way to stop illegal modifications isn't just tougher rules.

It's building emissions systems that are more reliable, last longer and don't cost an arm and a leg to repair.

Every week we see customers faced with huge bills because an emissions component has failed. When repairs become unaffordable, some people are tempted to look for cheaper, illegal alternatives.

Imagine if manufacturers focused on making these systems:
✅ More reliable
✅ Easier to repair
✅ More affordable to replace

We believe more people would choose to repair their vehicle properly.

This tyre inflation sealant expired back in February 2025. If you suffer a puncture, an out of date sealant may not seal the tyre properly, leaving you stranded when you need it most.

It's worth checking your puncture kit every now and then. It could save you a long wait at the side of the road.

Did you know your car has software, just like your phone?

Software updates aren't just for the engine. They can improve lots of different parts of your car, from fixing small faults to updating your sat nav.

Ever been sent down a road that doesn't exist anymore? An out-of-date sat nav could be the reason!

If your car isn't running quite right, or something just doesn't feel right, it might not need an expensive repair. Sometimes it just needs the latest software available from the manufacturer.

Not every vehicle has updates available, and we can only install software released by the vehicle manufacturer. We can't create new software ourselves, but if there's an official update for your vehicle, we'll be happy to check if it's available.
