Darren Knight & I are taking part in Severn Hospice Dragon Boats on the 19th July, with the Salop Leisure team, and are hoping you maybe willing to sponsor us.
Most importantly to help us support a much needed service in Shropshire. We all know friends, family and loved ones who have been affected by cancer, and ask you all to give what u can to help us.

✨ WOW… what a day! Sevenfest 2026, you were incredible! ✨

A huge THANK YOU to every single person who bought a ticket, came along, supported us and helped make Sevenfest such a fantastic success. We welcomed over 200 people to the park, and what an amazing atmosphere it was from start to finish.

Putting on an event like this takes a huge amount of planning and hard work, but seeing so many smiling faces made every minute worthwhile. Darren and I have absolutely loved organising it and spending the day chatting, laughing and catching up with so many of our wonderful owners, their families and friends. We really hope everyone enjoyed experiencing our beautiful park.

The entertainment was simply outstanding – every one of our artists was fantastic! The glitter station was a huge hit, the BBQ and bar were busy all day, and the Barrel of Booze raffle was an enormous success too!

A very special thank you to all of our amazing sponsors. Your generosity and support helped make Sevenfest possible, and we are incredibly grateful for your contribution. Events like this simply couldn’t happen without businesses and individuals willing to get behind our community and support such a worthwhile cause.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who donated so generously throughout the day. Every penny raised will help support the amazing work of The Movement Centre, and we can’t wait to announce the final fundraising total very soon.

Last night, our beautiful Pavilion was the setting for a very special celebration as the Grew family hosted a surprise 45th Wedding Anniversary party.

Family and friends gathered together, many of whom are part of the wonderful Seven Oaks community, to celebrate their milestone. The evening had clearly been planned with so much love by their daughters/family, creating a truly memorable occasion.

It was an honour that they chose Seven Oaks to host such a special event. The laughter, memories, and celebrations continued late into the morning! It was fantastic to see the Pavilion filled with so much happiness.

Events like this are a wonderful reminder that Seven Oaks is more than just a holiday park, it’s a community where friendships are made, memories are created, and our facilities can be enjoyed for life’s special moments.

Congratulations to Mark and Cheryl on 45 wonderful years together! ❤️🥂

Upcoming Resurfacing Works – B4393 Alberbury Road Closure

The works will require a full road closure on B4393 From Powys County Boundary
To Start Of Alberbury Village, Shrewsbury.
When is this happening?
The works are scheduled from Monday 29th June to Tuesday 7th July, between
9:30am and 4:00pm each day. (Weekdays only).
Please be aware that these dates may change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Any updates will be shown on local advance warning signs and on https://one.network/
How will this affect traffic?
A signed diversion route will be in place for the duration of the closure.
Will there be access to my property/business?
If you are looking to gain access to a property or business within the closure, we will
provide access, however vehicle access may be restricted during working hours.
Our on‑site team will assist where possible. Our priority is to keep you and our staff safe
however there may be delays or times when vehicle access cannot safely be provided.
During the work, access to the works area will be restricted to:
• Local residents who live and reside within the road closure
• Businesses located within the closure (if applicable)
• Emergency vehicles (blue light calls)

We will pop a map in the laundrette on the notice board for reference.

One platform to plan, monitor, communicate and analyse traffic disruptions.
