🍂 JUST ONE WEEK LEFT OF THE SEASON! 🍂

Can you believe we’re nearly at the end of another season at Grooby’s Pit? 🥹

There’s just ONE WEEK LEFT before we close for our winter break on 31st October! 🚐💚

It’s been another wonderful season, filled with lovely guests, great catches, peaceful moments by the lake and plenty of memories made.

But before we hang up our boots and put our feet up, we’ve got lots to look forward to! 👀✨

🔨 New plans are underway! We’ll be spending some time planning improvements and upgrades around the site, ready to make Grooby’s Pit even better for the 2027 season.

😴 And now for a little rest! After another busy season, we think a bit of downtime is well deserved. Although, knowing us, we probably won’t sit still for long! 😂

A huge thank you to every guest who has stayed with us this year, whether it was your first visit or you’ve been returning for years. Your support means so much to us. ❤️

If you’re hoping to squeeze in one last autumn getaway, there’s still time to join us before we close!

🌧️🐟 A GOLDEN CATCH AT GROOBY’S PIT! 🐟🌧️

It may have been a wet one yesterday, but that certainly didn’t dampen Paul’s spirits! 😁🎣

Just look at this beautiful golden catch! 🧡 What a stunning fish and a brilliant reason to smile, whatever the weather! He landed these beauties too! What a fantastic session at Grooby’s Pit, with some cracking carp to show for it. 💪🐟

A bit of rain certainly didn’t put Paul off, and judging by that smile, it was well worth getting out there! 😁

At Grooby’s Pit, you never quite know what might be waiting beneath the surface. 🎣🐟

🌧️🌱 REMEMBER THE BROWN GRASS? ☀️

Thinking back to earlier this year at Grooby’s Pit, when the grass was brown, the ground was crying out for a drink, and absolutely NOTHING was falling from the sky! 😅

Fast forward to now and I bet we’re all wishing we could turn the taps off! 😂💦

It just goes to show how quickly things can change with the good old British weather! 🇬🇧🌦️
