Repair in progress on the Peugeot 205 1fm GTI

I had no idea these cars existed.

This floor had a excellent combination of damage and corrosion meaning a good chunk of the front floor will be replaced.

Some more fettling to the panel but its getting closer. Next step is to remove the under floor reinforcement panel as thats been used many times as a jacking point.

With the bulk of repairs and fabrication finished on the little Honda its lovely to see it looking like a complete car again.

Still a few small repairs to finish up on and plenty of finishing and refining ahead yet.

If your not familiar this Honda S800 is being converted into a RSC race car replica.

Defining characteristics are the aluminium bonnet, door skins and boot lid. They are simplified lightweight panels in comparison to the originals.

Love it or hate it? It definitely divides opinions.

This Anglia is fighting us to the finish line with one problem solved another one rises.

On the flip side the car now drives well and the brake issue is fixed with ABS and traction control showing no more faults.

Time to resolve the last few minor issues before handing back to the customer to complete the interior and any other personal touches.
