“Even the funniest, loudest person in the room might be going through something difficult.”

A reminder from one of our 41 Mental Health First Aiders at NRG Riverside, whose words we’re sharing ahead of World Mental Health Day tomorrow.

Today, we’ve encouraged colleagues across our locations and working from home to take 10 minutes for their wellbeing. Whether that’s a brew and a conversation, a walk or sharing a positive note, it’s an opportunity to pause and make time for ourselves and each other.

Our Mental Health First Aiders are colleagues who have chosen to learn more, listen and help others access support. Their words reflect personal experiences and a shared commitment to helping colleagues feel comfortable asking for support.

Thank you to our Mental Health First Aiders and everyone helping to make space for these conversations.
