There's something pretty special about looking up and seeing wildlife like this right above your head. πŸ¦…

Watch carefully and you'll spot not just one, but **four birds of prey** soaring over Raylands Park, including this magnificent **Red Kite** and a couple of **Buzzards** enjoying the summer thermals.

Moments like these are becoming part of everyday life here. Thanks to the peaceful countryside setting and the work we've done to encourage wildlife, it's not unusual to see birds of prey circling overhead while you're relaxing outside your holiday home.

This is the side of nature most people never get to see... and we feel incredibly lucky to be able to share it with our owners and visitors.

🌼 Take a walk on the wild side...

Have you discovered our new mown path through the meadow opposite the Park yet?

The path takes owners and visitors on a gentle stroll through one of the most wildlife-rich areas of Raylands Park, passing our very own bug hotel along the way.

Bug hotels aren't just interesting to look at – they provide vital shelter for insects such as solitary bees, ladybirds, lacewings and beetles. During the colder months, many of these insects hibernate inside, emerging again in spring to pollinate flowers, control garden pests and provide food for birds and other wildlife. They're a small feature that makes a big difference to the health of the whole ecosystem.

Owners have already been telling us about the butterflies, bees, caterpillars and other insects they've spotted while enjoying the walk.

It's just one more reason why life at Raylands Park is a little different. Here, every stroll is an opportunity to slow down, enjoy the peace and discover something new in nature.

What a lovely way to spend a morning! πŸ¦‹πŸ’š

A big thank you to everyone who joined Ben for our latest moth trapping session. It's always exciting to lift the trap lid and see what has visited Raylands overnight, and this time there were lots of beautiful species to admire.

The star of the morning had to be the **Ruby Tiger moth**. It might be small, but its stunning ruby-red wings make it one of Britain's most eye-catching moths. We also found Buff-tip, Little Emerald, Common Footman and plenty of other fascinating species.

These mornings are a great reminder that there's so much wildlife to discover at Raylands if you just take the time to look. Our rewilding work is helping nature thrive, and whether it's butterflies drifting through the wildflowers, birds of prey soaring overhead, barn owls raising chicks or moths appearing after dark, there's always something special to see.

It's one of the things we love most about Raylands – sharing these moments with our owners and showing that nature really is right on your doorstep.

We can't wait to see what turns up at the next moth trap! πŸŒΏπŸ¦‹

For nearly 100 years, Roundstone Caravans, home to Roundstone Park and Raylands Park, has been proudly owned by the same family since 1930.

While we're proud of our history, we're even prouder of the people who have helped shape it.

This month we celebrated an incredible milestone as Dave Stilwell reached 40 years with the company. Dave joined us as a teenager and has become our go-to man for fixing just about anything! We had a great time celebrating at the Smith & Western in Horsham - another long established family business.

Dave is not the only long-serving member of the team. Steve Holloway has now been with us for over 46 years and Ben Gumbrell, our Park Manager at Raylands, is entering his 20th year with the business.

Together, that's more than 100 years of service between just three people – something that's incredibly rare these days.

We know how lucky we are to have such loyal, knowledgeable and hardworking people. They're a huge part of what makes Roundstone Park and Raylands Country Park such special places.

As we look ahead to our 100th anniversary we'd like to say a huge thank you to Dave, Steve, Ben and every member of our team, past and present, for being part of the Roundstone Caravans story.

**Family owned since 1930. Built on people, experience and trust. ❀️**

🀍 What an incredible day for wildlife at Raylands Park!

Yesterday we were lucky enough to spot a magnificent White Stork soaring over the park – a truly special sight and one that's still a rarity in Sussex.

As if that wasn't enough, later in the day the skies above Raylands were full of birds of prey, with 3 Red Kites, 5 Buzzards and our resident Kestrels all circling overhead.

Moments like these are exactly why we're so passionate about creating habitats where wildlife can thrive. You never know what might appear next!
