Brian is a 33 foot 6 inch long all steel traditional stern narrow boat built in 1990. The builder is unknown but it is of similar characteristics to a Springer (ie. Vee bottom). The boat is powered by a Lister LR2 air cooled engine. Layout from the front comprises of dining area with table and two chairs and solid fuel stove, following this is the galley with sink/drainer, 12v fridge and twin burner hob/grill/oven. Next comes the saloon with settee that converts to a double bed. Each side of rear doors are two compartments, the port side houses the shower and the starboard side the WC with Porta Potti, boxing above the engine takes you out onto the stern deck. Cover fitted over the front well deck. Survey report available to view from March 2014. Last docked and blacked in 2024. Boat Safety Certificate until April 2030.

She is powered by a 4-cylinder, 45 horsepower Barrus Shire marine diesel engine with PRM150 gearbox. Layout from the rear comprises of hard wood steps leading into the spacious double bedroom with lots of storage. Following this is the walkthrough bathroom will full sized quadrant shower unit, vanity basin and Jabsco deluxe flush macerator toilet. Following this is the galley with ample storage and work top space with sink/drainer, Shield Autocare 12v fridge with freezer compartment, CDA four burner gas hob and CDA grill/oven unit. Forward of this is the L shaped dinette with two tables (large and small) which also converts to a second double. We've run a website update this morning which includes improvements to our online booking system. This update should make it easier to search availability of our hire boats. A full list of the boats are now shown and the advanced search is always open which means you can search specific boats.

We love seeing old images of Norbury Junction. This one has just turned up from the RCHS archives, showing Apollo (ex Cowpar motor Swift) heading south.
