Jimmy Muirhead Scottish Classic
Purse per heat £1400 Final purse £3000
Entry fee £50. Race over a distance of 1.1/4 miles
Event 2
Jimmy Knocker Rennie Handicap
Purse per heat £950 Final purse £2300
Entry fee £50. Race over a distance of 1 mile
Events 1 and 2 are open to the top 48 Handicap horses with a minimum rating of 32 points. There will be a 50/50 split done with the handicap horses at the close of entries with higher marked horses going in event 1 and the lower marked horses in event 2.
In the event of there being a odd number of heats the greater number of heats will run in the high grade heats and final.
Heats to be run as open preferred handicap (regardless of point split). Final to be run using national ratings system races will be run on trails where 10 points=10yariads using the
BHRC handicap marks from the bottom horse and working upwards.

Ratings races for horses not eligible for the heats and final

Novice races for horses with 1 lifetime win
