And that's a wrap to our very first show day what a great day will definitely be back again next year hopefully even bigger then this year 💪 a massive thanks to R.W Thomson Memorial Classic Car Show for putting another fantastic day again always a great day out every year 🙌

Massive thanks to everyone that came and seen us today and helped 2 great causes ( We've yet to add up amounts this will be done over the coming days )

Rescued a guy poorly 911 from show and delivered safely back to home address then straight back to it with a load down to England of all places with driver number 2 💪

We still also have names left for guess the dog this is £1 a name winner receives £50 the other £50 will get split equal between Scottish air ambulance and R W Thomson along with the other funds which we have raised today

🚨 All Set for the R.W. Thomson Memorial Rally! 🚨

After a long, hard and hectic few days, everything is finally set up and ready for the R.W. Thomson Memorial Rally in Stonehaven ! 💪🚛

A massive thank you to everyone who has helped make it happen. From getting the vehicles cleaned and prepared, organising the display, transporting everything, and helping behind the scenes – it's definitely been a real team effort. We couldn't have done it without you all. 👏

Come along and have a look at our recovery fleet, meet the team, and have a go at our fundraising games: 🎡 Spin the Wheel – Prize every time! (£1 a go) 💰 Guess the amount of money in the jar 🍬 Guess the number of sweets in the jar 🐶 Guess the dog's name – 50/50 cash prize!

Every penny raised will be split between the R.W. Thomson Fellowship and Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance (Aberdeen), so you'll be supporting two fantastic causes while having a bit of fun.

We look forward to seeing plenty of familiar faces throughout the day. Make sure you come over and say hello! 😊

🚛🎉 Come and See Us at the R.W. Thomson Memorial Rally! 🎉🚛

This Sunday, 28th June, Go Far Recovery will be displaying our recovery vehicles and equipment at the R.W. Thomson Memorial Rally in Stonehaven.

Why not come along, say hello, and have a look around our fleet? Whether you're interested in recovery trucks, roadside assistance equipment, or just fancy a chat, we'd love to see you!

We'll also have a few fun games running throughout the day, with each game costing just £1 per go:

🎡 Spin the Wheel – Every spin wins a prize!
💰 Guess the Money in the Jar – Guess the correct amount (or the closest) and take the jar home!
🍬 Guess the Number of Sweets – Closest guess wins the whole jar!
🐶 Guess the Dog's Name – A 50/50 cash prize for the person who correctly guesses our dog's name.

⚠️ ZERO TOLERANCE FOR ABUSE ⚠️

Following an incident involving one of our staff members this morning, we feel it's important to make our position absolutely clear.

At Go Far Recovery, our team work long hours, often in difficult weather, dangerous roadside environments, and stressful situations to help people when they need it most. They deserve to be treated with respect.

We have a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of abuse, whether verbal, physical, threatening, or intimidating.

While we understand that breakdowns and vehicle issues can be frustrating, there is never any excuse for directing abuse towards our staff. Our operators are simply there to do their job and assist customers as safely and professionally as possible.

Any individual who abuses, threatens, or intimidates a member of our team can expect services to be withdrawn where appropriate, and incidents may be reported to the relevant authorities.

We are incredibly proud of our staff and will always stand behind them.

Thank you to the vast majority of our customers who continue to treat our team with the respect and courtesy they deserve.

Aye aye folk so a week on Sunday is our annual show at Mineralwell Park Stonehaven on the 28th of June
Come along and join us for a fun filled family day with over 600 vehicles on site

🚛💨 Busy Afternoon for the 12-Ton Twin Deck! 💨🚛

Non-stop afternoon for the Go Far Recovery team, with our 12-ton twin deck covering a real mix of jobs.

We had a Subaru Impreza collected from a customer’s house, an Audi TT roadside breakdown, and a Vauxhall Corsa recovered from a multi-storey car park breakdown.

From driveways to roadside call-outs and awkward car park recoveries, the twin deck proved its worth once again — allowing us to move multiple vehicles safely and efficiently in one run.
