The UK Garage & Bodyshop at the NEC was an amazing day yesterday, not only for networking and seeing what the industry has to offer, but also for the SA team.
To close for the day and take most of the team to an event like this brings so many positives, despite the loss of business for one day.
It is so worth the learning and development from new ideas and ways of working, new tools, demonstrations, workshops, and theatre talks.
Being able to feel the buzz and see the direction in which the independent industry is moving forward, especially for the younger and newly recruited members of the team.
Not to mention the well being, team building, bonding and moral, playing of darts on the BEN stand, a brilliant idea for your stand this year! (we too have a dart board for break times, with some very serious SA players!!)
This is why the decision was made to lose a days revenue, by investing in them, those that make it happen every day, it was brilliant to see them engaging and getting involved.
So if you think -
‘Is it worth taking everyone?’
It most definitely is, it is not a day out. It is positively investing TIME into your team and their development.
