Another fantastic result for Only Automatic at Sunderland Test Centre. This was a Tuesday afternoon test at 2:22pm - one of the trickier slots with school traffic and busy A-roads - but a clean bay park at the start set the tone for the whole drive.

**KEY LEARNING: What to do for emergency vehicles on your test - 21:37**
This is where a lot of tests go wrong. He was stopped at a red light to turn right into Southwick when an emergency vehicle came up fast from behind with lights and sirens.
What you MUST do:
1. Stay calm and check your mirrors
2. DO NOT go through a red light, enter a bus lane, or mount the kerb - you must not break the law to make way
3. If you are at a red light, you STAY PUT. The emergency vehicle is trained to find a way around you
4. Don't brake harshly or swerve
5. Once it has passed and when it is safe to do so, continue your manoeuvre
He did exactly right by holding back and waiting. The examiner noted this as good judgement.
