Chameleon School of Construction Ltd Construction qualifications & short courses in plastering, tiling & brickwork, motor vehicle maintenance, plus CSCS training.

Practical, hands-on courses designed to boost skills and career opportunities in construction and mechanics. Training Centres in Swadlincote, Burton on Trent, Barlborough, Pinxton, Ripley and Staveley. We are the local CSCS card training and testing centre. We offer a full range of Construction courses in Plastering, Wall & Floor Tiling, Brickwork and Motor Vehicle Maintenance from Diplomas Levels

1,2 and 3 and NVQ's 2 and 3. Most of our courses are fully funded including courses for Adults all ages who are unemployed or on a low income. Short 5 day courses are available in Plastering, Tiling and Bricklaying. We work with local schools and authorities to engage youngsters in construction training. We also offer BTEC courses in Construction suitable for 14 - 16 year olds working as an alternative provision to traditional schooling.

Well... that's it! 🎬

After years of being the slightly bossy manager (my team will definitely say very bossy 😂), today is my last day in a role I've absolutely loved.

To every learner – thank you. Every single one of you has mattered. Whether you were with us for five days or a full programme, you've all been part of the journey. Watching people grow in confidence, gain skills and move into employment has been the biggest privilege.

To our suppliers, employers and supporters – thank you for believing in what we do and helping us create opportunities that change lives.

And to the incredible team... what can I say? You are simply the best. You care about every learner as if they've paid a million pounds to be there, when in reality many simply needed someone to believe in them. Your patience, kindness, hard work and absolute dedication never go unnoticed. You really do change lives every single day.

If anyone is looking to train in construction or motor vehicle... honestly, this is the place. The facilities are fantastic, but it's the people that make it special.

So, from one very grateful (and occasionally bossy! 😆) manager...

🏗️ Specialist Tyrolean Training 🏗️

It was great to welcome Nottingham City Council apprentices to Chameleon School of Construction for specialist Tyrolean finish training.

The session provided learners with the opportunity to develop practical skills, gain experience using industry techniques, and build their understanding of traditional external wall finishes in a safe training environment.

We are proud to support the development of construction skills and would like to thank Nottingham City Council for choosing us to help further their apprentices’ training.

🧱 External Training Delivered for Nottingham City Council Apprentices 🧱

It was great to welcome apprentices from Nottingham City Council for specialist external training in dry dash rendering using Canterbury Spar.

The session provided valuable hands-on experience in this traditional external finishing technique, helping apprentices develop practical skills and industry knowledge to support their ongoing development.

A fantastic effort from everyone involved – well done! 👏
