Finishing off another productive week with this batch of 75 bespoke flightcases leaving the workshop. 👌

Each case has been manufactured with a precision CNC-machined foam insert, custom-designed to securely house specialist machine components, ensuring maximum protection during transport, storage, and day-to-day handling.

From the initial design through to CNC machining, assembly, and final quality checks, every case is built in-house to meet our customer's exact requirements. It's another great example of how we create bespoke storage and transport solutions for specialist industries where protection and organisation are essential.

Every great project starts with a challenge, and we're excited to get started on this one.

We've been tasked with designing and engineering a new universal flight case storage rack system to replace the existing cage system currently used for internal handling and distribution logistics. The goal is to create a smarter, stronger, and more efficient solution that improves the way flight cases are stored, moved, and managed throughout the operation.

From the initial concept and design through to engineering and manufacture, this project is all about delivering a robust, practical solution that enhances workflow, maximises storage efficiency, and stands up to the demands of daily use.

We don’t just build flight cases — we’re always thinking outside the box (excuse the pun!).

Take a look at the engineering behind these bespoke steel frames. Each one is hand-built and expertly welded before being powder-coated and cladded to meet the demands of life on the road.

These custom racks are destined for touring cable systems used at festivals and live events, where durability and reliability are essential.

From concept to completion, we take pride in delivering solutions that are built to perform in the toughest environments.

Jase has been out visiting Project 4 with Safran Landing Systems today. It’s always great to see our products in action, especially on one of the most complex projects we've delivered to date.

With the aviation industry, everything revolves around FOD prevention and visual management – and just look at those foam inserts! 👌

This project brought some unique challenges. We had to develop a bespoke towing system that allowed the cases to be daisy-chained behind aircraft utility tractors on the runway, while also ensuring the wheel design prevented interference with tow lines and runway operations.

Today, there are over 38 cases in circulation across Europe, with more on the way.

We're incredibly proud of this project at FCW, and it has been a pleasure working alongside the team to bring it to life. ✈️
