Thinking about buying a lodge for your own land? There are a few important things to consider before choosing one. 🏡

📋 Planning requirements can vary depending on where the lodge will be placed and whether it will be used for holiday, residential or annex accommodation.

🚛 Your site will need suitable vehicle access, enough installation space and clearance for lifting or positioning.

🔧 The base or foundation, electrics, water and drainage are separate from the lodge purchase and will need to be planned independently.

🏠 It’s also important to choose a lodge designed for off-site installation rather than one intended primarily for a holiday park.
