🚗 PARENTS – SHOW YOUR YOUNG DRIVERS WHAT TO CHECK! 🚗

Recently at Timperley Village Tyres, we’ve had a worrying number of young drivers come in with really badly worn or unsafe tyres. 😬🛞

If you’ve got a young driver in the family, spend 5 minutes showing them how to check:

🛞 Tyre tread – across the whole tyre, not just the outside
👀 Cracks, bulges or damage
💨 Tyre pressures
💡 Lights
🧽 Wipers & screen wash

Help them get into the habit of checking their own car and knowing what to look out for.

Not sure yourselves? Pop in and we’ll happily show them.

Unfortunately, due to a lack of evidence, Greater Manchester Police have now closed their investigation into the two thefts at Timperley Village Tyres last week.

It’s frustrating and disappointing, but there’s nothing more that can be done.

If there’s one thing to take from this, it’s this: look after your own property and belongings. Opportunist thieves are still out there, so please stay vigilant and make sure your vehicles, homes and businesses are as secure as possible.

A huge thank you to everyone who shared our posts, checked their CCTV, got in touch with information, and sent messages of support. It really was appreciated.

We’re drawing a line under it now and moving forward. Business is back to normal, and we’re here for all your tyre and vehicle needs.

Thanks again for all your support. 🚗🔧

🚨Thank you Timperley! The b@stards have been caught 🚨 arrested and van seized! 🚨
Quick work by GMP!

The quick thinking of a local guy has saved the community from hopefully anymore thefts from these scumbags!

IT DOESNT LOOK LIKE THEY ARE LOCAL TO OR STAYING IN THE AREA

This is the picture of the van used to take goods from Timperley Village Tyres yesterday (15/07/26) they were there between 6:35am (at least) but gone by 6:55am.
Any more cctv from the area would be great, as you can see they’ve cut ours 🤬

We’ve been broken in to this morning 6:30am - white transit van.
A substantial amount of alloy wheels have been taken.
Please let us know if you saw anything 😤😤
