Huge congratulations to Ashleigh Farmer on an amazing 1st-time pass! 🎉🚗
Ashleigh has a brilliant new job in the prison service up in London. Because she’ll be traveling back and forth to Devon to support her mum (who is recovering from a shoulder operation) while her dad works away, having her brand-new driving license is going to make juggling everything so much easier!
Her instructor, Alex Lawson, was extremely impressed with her dedication and couldn't be prouder of her achievement! 👏
Covering Torbay, Teignbridge, Newton Abbot, Exeter, and all across South Devon, we love seeing how getting your license changes your life.

Driving in the thick fog around Torbay and Newton Abbot today? It's easy to forget, but visibility isn't just about what you can see—it's about being seen by others. When visibility drops below one hundred meters, remember to switch on your dipped headlights and use your fog lights. Let’s keep our roads safe for everyone.

Liam Salter from Torquay achieved a perfect milestone today, October 2, 2026, by passing his driving test on his very first attempt.
Even more impressive, he secured his practical driving license after completing just 24 hours of professional tuition.
Mastering the roads and passing the rigorous practical test with such a concise amount of training highlights exceptional focus, quick adaptability, and excellent instructional guidance. While the average learner often requires around 45 hours of lessons plus additional private practice, completing it successfully in nearly half that time is a massive accomplishment.
Congratulations to Liam from your instructor Marc Rosindale and all the team at Top Gear Driving Academy on earning his independence on the road and safe driving!
