We are a Driving School in Tunbridge Wells offering tuition to learners across Kent and East Sussex. We have Driving Instructors covering Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks and Maidstone test centres. All of our Driving Instructors are DSA registered and CRB checked, while Jody Thomas is a Grade 6 instructor, the highest grade an instructor can achieve.

🚗 Ellie – First Time Pass with just 1 driver fault in Tunbridge Wells with Vincent.

🚗 Rayan – First Time Pass in Tunbridge Wells with Jakaria.

🚗 Kevin – An incredible clean sheet pass (0 faults) in Maidstone with Mark.

🚗 Francesca – Passed in Maidstone with Mark after working hard and building her confidence behind the wheel.

Passing a driving test is a huge achievement and we’re incredibly proud of every learner featured here.

I’m looking for 1 or 2 people in the Maidstone area to train and join the Jody Thomas Driving School team.

This isn’t one of those courses where you’re trained and then left to figure everything out for yourself.

The goal is simple:

✅ Train with me

✅ Qualify as an instructor

✅ Join our team

I’ve been a driving instructor for over 20 years, I’m a Grade A Instructor, and achieved the maximum possible score of 51/51 on my most recent DVSA Standards Check — something very few instructors achieve.

All training is delivered one-to-one by me personally.

No classroom sessions.

No being passed between trainers.

No endless online modules.

Just proper coaching, real driving situations and the support you need to build a successful career.

You don’t need teaching experience.

You don’t need to know everything about driving instruction.

You simply need to be:

✔ Good with people

✔ Professional and reliable

✔ Calm under pressure

✔ Willing to learn

✔ Passionate about helping others

Due to continued demand in Sevenoaks, I’m currently looking for 1 or 2 of the RIGHT people to train and join the Jody Thomas Driving School team.

This isn’t about training people and sending them off to work alone.

The goal is to develop professional instructors who become part of our established, respected driving school 💙

All training is carried out personally by me, 1-to-1 and in-car throughout the process.

No being passed between trainers.
No crowded classrooms.
No endless online modules.

Just proper coaching, real driving situations and genuine support every step of the way.
