An original UK home market example

Originally ordered in Island Blue/Old English White with Cumulus Grey & Gold brocade trim and supplied to Mr Masterson of Farnham by local BMC Agent Swain & Jones LTD on the 14th June 1966 and issued with the registration FHO 835D

A total nut & bolt photographic restoration was carried out by a highly regarded Mini enthusiast & expert Bryan Purves (Author of ‘The Last Works Mini’), with the original ‘S’ engine rebuilt to 1,293cc fast road spec by Bill Richards Engineering

Inspected by Paul Sulma of the Mini Cooper Register and consequently awarded the Chief Judge’s Special award (John White Cup) at the 2019 National Mini Cooper Rally, Beaulieu

Comprehensive provenance including Original Green logbook, Original Driver’s handbook, Heritage Trust certificate, Restoration details, invoices & photos, Engine & Gearbox build spec

Previously supplied by ourselves back in 2020, with the new owner then commissioning MED & CCK Historic to further enhance the Cooper S with some carefully chosen upgrades, this work costing in excess of £7,500 (All original parts are supplied with the car)

Remarkably, this beautifully restored Cooper ‘S’ has covered a mere 85 miles since restoration
