This 2013 Peugeot 107 came with two keys: one standard key and one remote key that hadn’t worked since the customer bought the car.

We supplied, cut and programmed a new two-button flip key, giving them working remote central locking and a tidy upgrade. ✅

🔑 All Keys Lost Peugeot Partner — With an Unexpected Diagnostic Fault! 🔧

Called out to this 2010 Peugeot Partner B9 for an All Keys Lost situation.

The job started with gaining entry and picking/decoding the vehicle, ready to cut the replacement keys.

With the mechanical side sorted, it was time to program the new keys — except the van had other ideas...

❌ Absolutely no OBD communication.

The Autel was showing 0V at the diagnostic connection, while further testing with Xhorse showed only around 7V under load.
Before the new keys could be programmed, the communication fault had to be diagnosed and repaired.

🔍 Testing revealed:
• 12.4V present at OBD pin 16 with no load
• Voltage collapsing to around 7V when diagnostic equipment was connected
• Approximately 5.2V positive-side voltage drop
• Fault traced back to the BPGA power supply management unit

Further investigation found severe corrosion at the fuse/contact on the yellow BPGA connector, creating a high-resistance connection.

The circuit could show normal battery voltage with no load, but as soon as diagnostic equipment was connected, the voltage collapsed — preventing communication with the vehicle.

⚡ Full OBD voltage restored
💻 Diagnostic communication restored
With the electrical fault resolved, the All Keys Lost procedure could finally be completed:
🔓 Vehicle picked and decoded
🗝️ Replacement keys cut
🔑 2 new standard keys programmed
🚐 Immobiliser operation confirmed
✅ Vehicle back up and running

What should have been a straightforward All Keys Lost job turned into a proper electrical diagnosis along the way.

When the car’s software fights back, some might throw in the towel. I don’t. 🚫⏱️

Today’s job started as what should have been a straightforward smart key programming job on this Skoda VAG MQB.

Instead, we were faced with a complete proximity key failure and a Kessy system that had effectively locked us out.

The vehicle was throwing complex security and checksum errors, with the push-to-start system refusing to operate. This was well beyond a simple key programming job.

6 hours of diagnostics, module recovery, security troubleshooting and immobiliser synchronisation later…

We got it back. 🔧💻

✅ Original key successfully programmed
✅ New proximity key supplied, cut & programmed
✅ Keyless entry fully restored
✅ Push-to-start working correctly
✅ Vehicle returned to the customer fully operational

🚗 Citroen C1 - All Keys Lost (AKL) 🚗

Sometimes making a new key is a quick OBD job, and other times it means getting properly hands-on!

For this Citroen C1 All Keys Lost situation, the immobilizer box is buried deep behind the heater matrix. As you can see, the whole dashboard had to come out just to access the unit.

Once the immo box was extracted, it was straight to the bench to read the 24C04 EEPROM chip. We successfully pulled the file and used our Xhorse gear to write the new transponder data directly to the immobilizer. Dash back in, everything reassembled, and the customer is back on the road! 🔧🚐
