🚗 A Message from Malmech & Mannion 🚗

Most of our customers are fantastic, and we genuinely appreciate every single person who chooses us to look after their vehicle.

However, we would like to remind everyone that abuse, intimidation, threatening behaviour, or aggression towards our staff will not be tolerated.

This week, a member of our team was subjected to abusive and threatening behaviour following an MOT failure. We understand that receiving unexpected news about your vehicle can be frustrating and disappointing, but our staff are simply doing their jobs and following strict DVSA regulations designed to keep everyone safe on the roads.

Our MOT testers do not make up the rules. They inspect vehicles against nationally set safety standards and record the results honestly and professionally.

The people behind our reception desk and in our workshop are human beings. They work hard, care about our customers, and deserve to be treated with respect.

We are always happy to explain MOT failures, discuss repair options, and answer any questions. What we will not accept is abuse towards our team.

Thank you to the many customers who continue to support us and treat our staff with kindness and respect. It is greatly appreciated.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of attending a fantastic event hosted by Bonds Tyres at York Racecourse.

The day wasn’t just about enjoying the racing – it was an important opportunity for us to meet with suppliers, discuss pricing, and negotiate the best possible deals for our customers.

Most importantly, we spent time learning more about the wide range of tyre brands available on the market. Not all tyres are created equal, and understanding the differences between brands, performance levels, safety features, and value for money helps us give our customers the best advice when choosing the right tyres for their vehicle.
