On Thursday night we lost not only another biker, but truly an amazing friend. A father of a young family, we still had so many plans and rides to carry out.

It was a freak accident, and I’m glad that he had the biker group around him at the time trying to save his life. I would like to thank the police and ambulance service that attended almost instantly to the scene and despite their amazing efforts Jack succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

We have set up a memorial in the place of the accident located at the foot of Cheddar gorge. We would appreciate if people take the time to stop by and pay respects and maybe lay a flower or two for Jack.

We’re still so shaken and it goes to show no matter who you are and what experience us as bikers have to be as safe as possible

Thank you to all the bike community and ride safe
