As well as presenting the trophies at BSSO - British Scooter Sport Organisation it was a real treat to catch up with some of the lifetime members of our race team - the guys that came together from different BSSO teams to form our Super Team, the Lambretta Super Group if you will…it’s only when you look back at something you realise what it meant to everyone and while it was amazing at the time, the stories and memories just keep getting stronger and bonding between us all.
Within the pictures you’ll note some of the quickest riders and best engine builders in the BSSO paddock without whom we would not have achieved what we did.
Great to see you all again and thank you for the warm words of everyone who stopped by the tent for a chat and catch up…..one day we’ll be back I am sure….
While at the track I was curious to see if the scooters would start up given they had not run since their last races in 2018 and 2019 when the were loaded in the van having sat in a warehouse ever since. A bit of petrol and brake cleaner and they fired into life, crazy stuff.
