🚗 DID YOU KNOW? – Parking Rules Every Driver Should Know! 🚗

Parking safely isn’t just about avoiding fines — it’s about keeping everyone safe and traffic flowing smoothly. Here are some key parking rules from the UK Highway Code 👇

📍 Rule 243
DO NOT park:
• Opposite or within 10 metres (32 feet) of a junction
• Near a school entrance
• In front of a property entrance
• On a bend or near the brow of a hill

📍 Rule 240
You MUST NOT stop or park:
• On zig-zag lines at pedestrian crossings
• In cycle lanes during operating times
• On double white lines
• In taxi bays or clearways

📍 Rule 238
Double yellow lines = No waiting at any time
School zig-zag markings = No stopping during restricted times

📍 Rule 244
You MUST NOT park on the pavement in London, and shouldn’t elsewhere unless signs allow it.

📍 Rule 239
If parking roadside:
• Park in the direction of traffic flow
• Stop close to the kerb
• Check mirrors before opening your door
