Meganne 225 track Car has been doing many trips to the Nurburgring lately. So we regularly keep on top of this vehicle to help protect it and keep it staying cleaner for longer. Today we carried out a full decontamination wash and interior deep clean with wet vacuum of the seats and a 24 month glass ceramic coating from Carbon collective

Our ceramic coating service is a minimum 2–3 day process, with every stage carried out meticulously within our professional, temperature-controlled studio at One Customs

01 — DECONTAMINATION
The surface of the vehicle is thoroughly cleaned and chemically decontaminated followed by clay barring the vehicle removing bonded contaminants and preparing the paintwork for the next stage to make sure it’s properly clean and safe before we put the machine polisher to the car.

02 — PAINT CORRECTION
The paint is carefully refined under professional lighting, correcting imperfections and enhancing clarity, depth and gloss, this can take up to a full day maybe even two days depending on how hard or soft the paint work is every car is different and tells a story.

03 — CERAMIC PROTECTION
The coating is precisely applied by hand, creating a highly durable, ultra-gloss protective layer. We apply the coatings indoors as we can stick to the coating manufactures specifications with temperatures and humidity. Doing this outside changes the flash time of the coating and can make you rush and miss the excess ceramic and leave high spots which leaves a horrible rainbow/ oil slick effect on the paint work that has to be machine polished off then you’re back at square one.

04 — CONTROLLED CURING
Your vehicle remains securely inside our controlled environment while the coating cures at the appropriate temperature, away from dust, moisture and contamination.

Mercedes-AMG C63 S | Single-Stage Paint Correction & Ceramic Protection

This stunning Mercedes C63 S came to us for a single-stage paint correction, followed by a premium ceramic coating package using Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light + EXO.

Before any protection could be applied, the paintwork needed addressing. Unfortunately, the previous workmanship on this vehicle was very poor, with multiple visible holograms and defects left behind from improper polishing. The finish showed clear signs of a lack of knowledge and understanding of correct machine polishing techniques.

Our single-stage correction focused on refining the paintwork, removing the majority of the unwanted holograms and improving the overall clarity, gloss and finish of the vehicle.

Once the paint was properly prepared, we applied Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light (CSL) followed by EXO.

The two coatings work extremely well together:

🔹 Crystal Serum Light provides the primary ceramic protection, creating a durable, chemically resistant layer with excellent gloss, slickness and protection against environmental contamination.

🔹 EXO is applied as the top layer, adding an additional level of hydrophobicity, making water and contamination much easier to remove while enhancing the gloss and slickness of the finish.

CSL + EXO together provide a fantastic combination of durability, gloss, chemical resistance and extreme water behaviour, giving the C63 S a much better level of protection while making it significantly easier to maintain.

The result is a dramatically cleaner, sharper and more refined finish — exactly how this Mercedes should have looked in the first place.

Correct preparation is everything. The coating is only as good as the surface underneath it.d
