A brilliant weekend with the Irish mini owners club at the west cork camping weekend,
It was the first time out with the Rapido folding caravan, only bought a few days before, but it worked fine for the weekend, no problem pulling it behind the mini,
It needs some TLC before it's next outing, but that will be done too
About 20 cars on Saturday for a drive through west cork and back to clonakilty to take part in the parade for the old time fair,
Sunday,s drive took us to Kinsale , the signal tower at the old head, but fog prevented us from seeing the view before a nice drive along the coast back to Sextons campsite in Timoleague,
Thanks to everyone involved this weekend, most enjoyable and the mini got used like it should.

A visit to Charleville show today, I'm ashamed to say that it was my first time there, lots to see, a lot of tractors and cars and trucks, and space for more, unfortunately I was only a spectator this time, but hopefully I will attend with a car in the future

An interesting car visiting us today, it's been a while since we have had one of these here,
It's nice to see people going on holidays in a classic or vintage car, it's something that very few Irish people do, but the UK and European enthusiasts seem to make the effort and drive their cars on holidays.

Moving a few cars around this evening in the museum, the Morris 8 tourer hadn't moved in quite a while and it did take a bit of work to start it this time, but it was just a sticking inlet valve, we put some wd40 down the plug hole, and spun the engine over with the plugs out got it freed out and it ran perfectly after that,
Always something to do here.
We are open all week until Saturday evening, so if you are in the area, then why not drop in for a visit.
