*Induction cm Orientation Program organized by Department of Automobile, GSSDGS Khalsa College, Patiala*
A Students’ Induction cm Orientation Program for the newly admitted students of B.Voc Automobile 1st Year was organized by the Department of Automobile (DDU Kaushal Kendra) at Bhai Gurdas Conference Hall, GSSDGS Khalsa College, Patiala.
The program was graced by the presence of students of B.Voc Automobile 1st, 2nd and 3rd year along with faculty members. The stage was conducted by Er. Barinder Pal Singh who welcomed all the dignitaries and highlighted the importance of the automobile sector worldwide and briefed about the B.Voc Automobile syllabus and curriculum.
Dr. Nipunjot Kaur, Co-ordinator, DDU Kaushal Kendra welcomed the students and gave detailed information regarding the college and the skill-based B.Voc Automobile course.
Dr. Rouble Brar, Co-ordinator, Anti-Ragging Cell made students aware about anti-ragging rules and guided them to fill the anti-ragging affidavit.
Prof. Jaspreet Singh, Incharge Scholarship Branch, gave information about various Central and State Government scholarship schemes and the required documents for applying.
An interactive session was held where first year students interacted with their seniors. All students gave their introduction and showcased their talents through singing, mimicry, jokes, dance etc. Er. Navdeep Singh gave a motivational lecture to boost the inner talent and hardworking spirit of the students.
College Principal Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha said that such programs are regularly organized in the college for the awareness and overall introduction of the students to familiarize them with all the functioning and activities going on in the college. He appreciated the initiative taken by the Department of Automobile for organizing this meaningful program for the holistic development of students.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Er. Charanjot Singh.
